Meet the Owner - Tommy Bernard

Hi, I’m Tommy Bernard, founder of Baylor Roofing. Like most Nebraskans, I believe in hard work, straight answers, and doing the job right.


I grew up on a family farm & ranch in South Western Nebraska where I grew up to learn hard work, respect, & your word means everything, I’ve called Kearney home since 1986, spent decades as a dedicated member of the community, growing other successful businesses right here in the heart of the state.


Baylor Roofing was born from a simple mission: to deliver real solutions, whether it’s replacing a hail-damaged roof, upgrading for curb appeal, or installing energy-efficient windows and siding that save money for years to come.


While we’re experts at working with insurance companies and storm adjusters, that’s just part of what we do. We also work directly with homeowners looking to refresh the look of their home, boost property value, or improve energy efficiency with top-quality products and skilled installation.
